The Sammy Rock Music House Studio has been around for quite some time. So long that it has been through a lot of wear and tear, renovations and more. When you have an establishment that’s been around for many years and you have different artists from all walks of life entering on a regular basis. You are bound to have something bad happen every once in awhile.
Sometimes those things are out of your control for example natural disasters like tornadoes or fire damage. In those situations all you can really do is prepare and react. Hoping that you’re able to salvage and restore as much of your property as you can.
For instance, approximately 5 years ago one of our drawing rooms experienced fire disaster which left many areas of the room damaged. We had to contact one of the top co2 blasting Calgary professionals to take care of the restoration process. Going with co2 was an experience move considering that we experienced a similar disaster only two years prior. We definitely learned our lesson by choosing more expensive means of cleaning.
One of the biggest benefits of using co2 is that you’re not forced away from your work for too long. Since it’s a very non-toxic procedure you are capable of even doing work right beside it if you can deal with the noise. Since we aren’t as much of a recording studio as we used to be many of the students don’t mind hearing a little bit of noise while they work on their drawings and paintings.
When our fire problem occurred, many of the older paintings that were purchased were damaged. Fortunately we were able to use some of the dry ice to help clean and restore the paintings back to brand new. Or at least very close to it.
